Bloom began with one bench and a market run
Elsa Mercer trained at the Chelsea Physic Garden before opening Bloom's first studio in a Hackney railway arch in 2016. In 2020 the studio moved to its current north-light home in Marylebone, where a team of four now design every commission by hand.
Our Philosophy
Seasonal, local where we can, and never a scrap of foam
We buy what is at its best each morning, not what a catalogue dictates. Wherever the season allows we source from British growers, and we have worked entirely foam-free since day one — every arrangement is built with reusable mechanics, moss and wire. Beautiful flowers should never cost the earth they came from.
Each with a specialty, all of us at the market by six.
